What to write to us about
- A mistake or an outdated fact: tell us the page and, if you can, the official source that shows the correct information. See corrections for how we handle them.
- A photo credit or licence: if you are the author of a photo and the credit is wrong, tell us which photo.
- A species or state you would like covered: we add states as their official lists are checked.
What we cannot help with
We cannot identify an animal from a photo sent by email or tell you whether an animal is safe, and we give no medical advice. If someone is bitten or stung, call 911 or Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. For an animal in your home or yard, contact your state's wildlife agency, listed on each state page.
